Take a look a sandy beach of Four Mile Beach. This beach is on the East side of Port Douglas, a small tourist town around 50km (31mi) North of Cairns, Queensland. It is a long sandy beach, lined by tropical coconut trees, that starts near the town centre, extending South for close to the advertised four miles. At the North end there is a picnic area with BBQs, hotels and cafes. Further South behind the beach is a mix of residential houses, hotels and resorts.

Karon Beach is one of the best beaches for water fun.Karon Beach is very long, 5km (3 miles), with fine white sand that squeaks when you walk on it throughout its entire length. Sea turtles are occasional nocturnal visitors, laying their eggs in the sand at night time. In the Southwest monsoon season (May to October) there can be heavy swell. Pay attention to the red warning flags when they’re flying.

Kaanapali Beach is located approximately 4 miles northwest of Lahaina, the ancient Hawaiian capital and whaling port between the blue Pacific and majestic mountain slopes. Also nearby the Maui vacation rentals is biking, fishing, boating, sailing, waterskiing, the Whaling Museum, Sugar Cane Train, submarine ride, and the championship golfing courses at Kaanapali and Kapalua. Kaanapali Beach is, like so many places in Hawaii, excellent for surfing , snorkeling and any other water sport.
