Zakynthos (Zante Island) is almost triangular in shape, with two green mountainous promontories extending into the sea to form the huge bay of Laganas. Zakynthos has a flora and natural beauty, no wonder why it was called as the “fiore di levante” (flower of the East) from all the western civilizations, during the ancient times and the middle ages.
Santorini is a greek world famous island in the Aegean Sea, and is located 63 nautical miles north of Crete. Its surface area is 73 sq. km. and its population, distributed among thirteen villages, just exceeds thirteen thousand six hundred people, according to the census of 2001. Located on the southern coast of Santorini in the area named Akrotiri, Red Beach is truly majestic and you would be hard-pressed to find a beach anywhere in the world that mixes such a color scheme.
