Karon Beach is one of the best beaches for water fun.Karon Beach is very long, 5km (3 miles), with fine white sand that squeaks when you walk on it throughout its entire length. Sea turtles are occasional nocturnal visitors, laying their eggs in the sand at night time. In the Southwest monsoon season (May to October) there can be heavy swell. Pay attention to the red warning flags when they’re flying.

Patong Beach located on Phuket Island is the busiest, most developed, and most popular destination in Phuket, Thailand. Patong Beach is maybe more famous for its nightlife than the 2-kilometer beach that runs the entire length of Patong. Nightlife is centered on two main areas Bangla Road and Paradise Complex, with Bangla Road being predominantly straight and Paradise Complex being predominantly gay. Much mixing of the two scenes occurs due to Phuket Island’s tolerant nature.
